Making history accessible by designing with soul.

What could we have for our site?

Would you like to attract more visitors?

Do you have an archive to make accessible?

Are you concerned about opening spaces to the public?

Would you like people to take part in activities at your site?

Do you feel your sites full potential isn’t being seen?

We can tackle some of these challenges by creating assets …

  • marketing materials

  • maps

  • information displays/welcome boards

  • education packs

  • Workshops

Previous clients include Heritage Lottery Funded projects such as St Leonards Church Flamstead, Nash Mills C of E School Archive, as well as National Trust site Sissinghurst, Rochdale Pioneers Museum and Platt Hall Costume Gallery, Manchester.

Translating history to show its value.

  • Maps and visual guides

For exterior or interior display boards, paper prints or online. Communicate clearly with your visitors.

  • Graphics

Bring archive documents to life by using them in illustrations for printed materials.

    Colour is key.

History doesn’t have to be brown. A colour palette for all work will give a consistent identity as well as eye catching imagery.

  • Timelines and visual stories.

Tell your story in an easily understood and visual exciting narrative that explains the details with illustrations.

  • Education Packs

Having your own education pack can elevate your visitor experience, make a site interesting for younger visitors as well as giving your space a brand and character.

  • Workshops

Using storytelling, interactive experiences and art based practices to explore historic findings. Helping people have access to heritage sites without the assumed restrictions.

I have plenty of experience working with students of all ages, I offer workshops at your site designed to meet your goals in an appropriate format. This may be 2 hour sessions for school students with a presentation followed by a tour and practical session or it might be creating learning resources for families etc.

I will work with you to create what is best for your site.

    Current DBS Check.

  • Design for merchandise

Taking prominent features of your site to create your own pattern designs for stationary, ceramics and textile products can create a secondary revenue stream. And this is much more cost effective that you might think!
